Tokyo Gigs 11th - 30th July 2010?

My friend will be visiting Tokyo from 11th - 30th July 2010 and is looking to try and catch some gigs while he's there.

He's interested in psychedelic/noise/drone/ambient/experimental/underground etc etc.

Any tips on gigs in that period, or where might be good to look for such listings. His girlfriend speaks Japanese, so information doesn't have to be in English, but it's hard to know where to even begin in a city as huge as Tokyo.

Any good places to check out for this kind of music? Clubs or venues or listings sites or blogs?

As far as clubs which cater to mostly avant-type music, the only one I know of is Super Deluxe in Roppongi - http://www.super-deluxe.com/

another thought is to go to modern and see what flyers they have out.  if there's anyone you specifically want to see, i'd google their webpage and check their upcoming show listings.
