So how did this go? What was the turnout like? Although I live fairly close to Fukuoka, I didn't have the motivation to make it down. Guess I'm less interested in ear-bleeding noise than I once was

Against festival went well.  Basically sold out.  Hijokaidan were awesome to say the least and enjoyed a good sound mix courtesy of John from Jazkamer.  Zeroreality, Justice Yeldham were memorable too.  A last minute addition to the line-up was Mani Neumeier from Guru Guru who joined local free jazz unit TEKIKOKU ONGAKU for a blazing dual drum session.  DVD in post production now. Planning has begun for Against 2009 featuring Masonna, The Bastard Noise, Analog Suicide, Defektro and more.
