Seasoned Seazer watchers might want to scope out a forthcoming 5CD boxset of rare material:

Due for release on March 23, the main focus will be the full version of the Seazer Recital previously released as "Kokkyo Junreika". Previous versions of this have clocked in at 50 minutes, but this boxset will contain the full show, around 140 minutes across two disks.

We're also promised a disk of material from 1971 (Seishonen no tame no mujinto nyumon); another from 1972 (Hashire Merosu + Kyofu no ongaku); and one more from 1978 (Kodomo-gari).

And to ensure maximum frustration, the Disk Union chain are also promising an extra two track CD to purchasers at their shops.

Looks great,  I'd love to get a copy from Disk Union (to get the extra CD) but I don't think they sell outside Japan.  Is there anyone on this board who is in Japan and would be willing to help me out getting this?

I picked this up from Disk Union when I was in Japan last month and I must say, it is quite amazing. The extensive booklet contains tons of photos, lyrics, and information, and of course the music is all unbelievable. Highly recommended.

I was actually lucky to pick it up. I had forgotten about its release and on the 25th headed over to Shinjuku, J.A. Seazer and Shuji Terayama in mind, to go to some CD shops. Disk Union had this, along with some other J.A. Seazer releases laid out on a table and I grabbed it immediately.

I listened recently, and for the first time, some J.A. Seazer stuff. Actually this one:

I noticed Kan Mikami on two tracks, but the overall work is excellent, I must say!

Is this release possible to find for sale on some website? $75 on discogs is too high.

I'd also very much like to know what it is about - roughly. I heard the crowd was laughing sometimes. Just like in Tomokawa's Inu Akita Concert, I would like to know what's going on...
